JUDGEMENT GAME SIGN-UPS
Sep. 8th, 2001 09:57 amSome general guidelines on the sins you submit:
• I'll need two sins, BUT only the first sin is guaranteed to be used! The second sin is there as a back-up, and will only be used if I need to balance lists to make them even with the others.
• Sins MUST be something the character remembers, either from a memory or Imeeji. If your character doesn't remember it, or it didn't happen on camera, it's not a viable option.
• I'll be greatly simplifying sins in the end, omitting extra fluff and identifiable information. For example, if I put down "God drugged and kidnapped B and sent C on a wild scavenger hunt to fuck with him because she wants to hurt him by hurting the people close to him" it'll be watered down to "There is one who... kidnapped an innocent person to provoke someone they hated." Or something like that. I want to create a simple list with each unit's sins, not a clunky paragraph that makes everyone's eyes cross. Here's an example of what a sin list will look like:
• ETA: Though the basis for sins is "very bad things your character has done," if you're hitting a wall while thinking of ANY bad things their character has done, sins can also be petty things, or things worded to make your character look bad (so long as it's not a straight-up lie,) too. Littering, threatening someone, taking the last cookie, "causing" someone's death because you didn't protect them. All acceptable!

UNIT 1• Lastly: these sins aren't the worst things your character has done by their own standards—they're the worst things they've done by societal/moralistic standards. It's what the world would think is a very shitty thing to do!
There is one who... attacked their grandmother because she ate the last onion
There is one who... killed innocent people for no reason at all
There is one who... stole jewelry because they thought it looked nice
There is one who... started a war just to see if they could do it
There is one who... held someone for ransom out of pure spite
